Re: Calgary
Rookie didn't make the top 64, we had one chance to make the cut of 64 after only two practise runs and the two guys who knocked rookie out made it to the final sixteen.
JimZ and myself raced together all day with Scoot but the two of us never got into the round of 16 either. Crazy eight man heats crazy bails. I got eaten alive by the cracks many times. The foam green suit and helmet you see on the silverfish thread is me. Hilarious shots.
Misho didn't get out of the round of 32, neither did Tom Edstand, Brian Elderkin was out in the round of 64, so many kids are getting so fricking good!
Amazing race despite the Willcock style rules!
We all got hammered on a ranch with a live Rockabilly band that stoked out Rookie more than I've seen him in a long time.
Niko took on the entire Coast crew and got em!!! Felicitacions buddy!
Off to skate slalom now. Salut!

Re: Calgary
Wow 8 men heats. I was wondering what's up in the pic with 7 riders.
I hope that is not going to become the norm. There was a lot of 6 men heats in Munnsville and it was crazy when you were pit against a few riders with similar skills.
If it means more rides for everyone though, I guess I can deal with it... There are more riders at every races as the sport becomes more popular. I guess it's becoming hard to fit so many riders in a tight schedule.
