Dude it looks exactly like a jim z. And the graphic looks like a rayne. This board is totally a ripoff.

Dont forget about the high performance aeronautical surface polish that reduces thes air drag on the underside of the deck!
Re: Boards
Nah honestly looks like a great board. I'm stoked for you max. Not stoked for the people who have to pay full price... and yeah 500 is a low-ball. Cmon it's loaded they sold their dancer for 300 and it was 2 plies of bamboo with a not even fiberglass thing on top. I can only imagine what they'll try to sell this thing for. Considering they've been developing it for 10 years as well.
Re: Boards
Wheel wells...
Not stoked for the people who have to pay full price... and yeah 500 is a low-ball.

Re: Boards
Like yeah and no. I don't want companies to start making chinese boards. But I don't want the scene to start drifting towards more expensive and expensive products. Like right now paying 300$ for precision trucks is pretty much normal. Not just in the tiny DH world but like random dudes with real jobs and money to spend. Just about every skate site offers 100$+ bearings and convinces noobs that they need them. "like yeah bro... abec 7 is good enough but you know... you don't wanna cheap out and buy 40$ bearings..." I saw a kid with a carbon hellcat on the bus the other day... just likes pushing around with it...
and loaded/otang is pretty much on the cutting edge of raising the prices for all of the things we buy. I dunno... yeah loaded is unique and they do a lot of R and D. But in 10 years I don't want it to be normal to have to spend 1000$ on a setup.

Re: Boards
That's from the grass-roots skater side of things.
While the other side of my brain is saying fuck that! If I was loaded I would be trying to rip every kid in the world a new asshole by raising prices. I mean just look at how much money is flying around in the snowboard industry. And there it's normal to go and spend 700$ on just a deck. And then spend 300$ on bindings. And then 350 on boots. And then 500 on a jacket. And 200 on pants. And another 200 on goggles. Then 100 on gloves. And then pay 70$ on a day of snowboarding. It's pretty much inevitable that prices like that will become common in longboarding. And yeah I mean if we want longboarders to have mansions and private helicopters to film and private roads in switzerland paved just for them to practice on then yeah it's gonna come out of our wallets.

Boom. This is such a possible scenario.. And look how fancy some our boards can be compare to some basic sandwich snowboards that are sold 400-500$!Dimm a écrit:That's from the grass-roots skater side of things.

Re: Boards
I totally get your point of view.

Yeah I guess we'll see. So far if it's 500$ the Loaded DH board looks like it's a much better investment than a hellcat deelite that's for sure.

Re: Boards

If there's one thing Loaded can do it's sell their products for way more than you think they can get away with! Hahaha... just wait... We should bet on it.
If the board sells for less than 500$ I'll ride a restless at St. Marie. Hahahaha.

damn i'll go 20% faster with this board and 10% faster with my precision trucks!!!
