RULES AND REGULATIONS
DOWNHILL SKATEBOARD AND LUGE

REGISTRATION:
EVERY RACER AND FREERIDER MUST REGISTER AND PAY THE ENTRY FEES AT THE REGISTRATION TENT BEFORE THE RACE.

WAIVER:
BEFORE EVERY RACE EVERY RACER MUST READ AND SIGN THE WAIVER OF LIABILITY. RACERS UNDER THE AGE OF 18 MUST HAVE THEIR WAIVER SIGNED BY THEIR LEGAL GUARDIANS.

WEATHER
RACES MIGHT BE RESCHEDULE IF THERE A 40% OR MORE CHANCE OF RAIN.

PROTECTIVE GEAR:HELMETS, GLOVES AND SHOES ARE MANDATORY FOR EVERY EVENT, THE REST IS UP TO THE RACER'S DISCRETION.

RACER'S NUMBER:
A NUMBER IS GIVEN TO EVERY RACER AND IS DETERMINED BY THE PAST CONTEST RANKING. THE LOWEST NUMBER HAS PRIORITY ON THE LANE CHOICE AT THE START LINE.

RIDER'S MEETING:
EVERY CONTESTANT MUST ATTEND THE RIDER'S MEETING HELD PRIOR TO THE RACE.

JAM FORMAT:
MOST OF THE RACES ARE RUN IN JAM FORMAT, WHICH MEANS YOU CAN CHOOSE THE PEOPLE YOU RACE WITH BUT CAN ONLY HAVE THE SAME HEAT ONCE.

HEATS:
RACES ARE RUN WITH HEATS OF EITHER 2, 3 OR 4 RACERS PER HEAT DEPENDING ON THE RACE TRACK, NO HEAT LEAVES THE START LINE IF IT DOESN'T HAVE THE RIGHT AMOUNT OF RACERS.

QUALIFYING:
A SET NUMBER OF QUALIFYING RUNS IS SET FOR EVERY PARTICIPANT AT THE BEGINING OF THE RACE.

QUALIFYING BOARD:
A BOARD IS SET AT THE FINISH LINE AND EVERY RACER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR MARKING THEIR POSITION AFTER EVERY QUALIFYING RUN.

FINALS:
EVERY RACER MUST BE AT THE PIT AFTER THE QUALIFYING PERIOD TO GET THEIR FINAL HEATS.
IF SOMEONE MISSES THEIR FINAL HEAT, HE'S BUMPED DOWN TO THE BOTTOM RANKING OF THAT HEAT.

FOUL PLAY:
IF ONE FEELS HIS OPPONENT WAS NOT RACING FAIR IN ANY WAY(FALSE START,GRABBING,PUSHING), HE'S GOT THE RIGHT TO CALL A RE-RUN.

CHAMPIONSHIP POINT SYSTEM:
THE LOWEST POINTS WIN.
here's an exemple of the chart: ( let's say there's 50 racers at every race and AJ only went to Mac Attack)

racer/race: mac - zig - shak - munns
fred d. 5th 15th 10th 20th = 50pts
simon 1st 3rd 7th 4th = 15pts
AJ pow 3rd 51 51 51 =156pts

so simon wins the championship title...

This year we will have a graphic updated after each event so that everyone can monitor their progress.


-- SLOPESTYLE --

definition:

A slopestyle contest is a skateboard discipline that is practised on a slope and includes many different styles of skateboarding which are: downhill ( for the speed aspect), street ( for technical tricks like kikflips ect), sildes( for stylish slides and speed control) and big air ( if a kicker is available).

Contestants have a X number of run to complete which are judge and their X number top run are added for a final standing.

The contest will be judge by a impartial panel of judge designated by the Missile racing officials.

The riders earn points with the overall style of their ride and the degree of difficulty.
They will lose points if they fall or sketch out.

LIABILITY WAIVER FORM

To the best of my knowledge, I am in good physical condition and fully able to participate in this event. I am fully aware of the risks and hazards connected with the participation in this event, including physical injury or even death, and herby elect to volontary participate in the said event, knowing that the associated physical activity may be hazardous to me and my property. I VOLUNTARILY ASSUME FULL RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY RISKS OR LOSS, PROPERTY DAMAGE, OR PERSONNAL INJURY, INCLUDING DEATH,that may be substained by me, or loss or damage to property owned by me, as a result of participation in this event.

I hereby RELEASE,WAIVE,DISCHARGE, AND COVENANT NOT TO SUE, The organiser of the event, the sponsors,and any person related to the organisation from any and all liability, claims, demands,actions and causes of action whatsoever arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury, including death, that may be sustained by me, or to any property belonging to me, while participating in physical activity, or while on or upon the premises where the event is being conducted.

It is my expressed intent that this Release and Hold Harmless Agreement shall bind the members of my family and spouse, if I am alive and my heirs, assigns and personal representative, if I am deceased, and shall be deemed as a RELEASE, WAIVE,DISCHARGE, and CONVENTION TO SUE the above named releasees. I hereby further agree that this waiver of liability and Hold Harmless Agreement shall be constructed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Quebec.

In signing this release, I acknowledge and represent that I HAVE READ THE FORGOING Waiver of Liability and Hold Harmless Agreement, UNDERSTAND IT AND SIGN IT VOLUNTARILY as my own free act and deed; no oral representations, statements and inducements, apart from the foregoing written agreements have been made; and I EXECUTE THIS RELEASE FOR FULL, ADEQUATE AND COMPLETE CONSIDERATION FULLY INTENDING TO BE BOUND BY SAME.

est-ce le mac attack est une bonne course pour quelqu'un qui veut faire sa premiere course avec du monde?J'ai un peu d'experience en downhill et je voudrais courser cette année.Si non quelle autre course se fait bien(pas trop loin de repentigny)?

Oh ouais en plein dessus. C'était ma première compé et j'ai adorer l'expérience. La cote est pas trop intense mais très l'fun.

le zigzag,le shack et le mac attack sont de tres bonne courses a faire pour commencer a courser.

J'ai lu ici que le Mack Attack serait bien pour une première compétition, mais j'ai trois petites questions

-Si je peux trouver des photos de l'événement, surtout de la piste =P, pour savoir à quoi m'attendre

-Si on doit faire du drift pour tourner les coins

-Si on a vraiment besoin de gant, comme indiqué si-haut

drift et gants seront au rendez-vous, pointe toi champion.
