Landyachtz boards 2008

Pintails are a failsafe longboard design that are easy to ride, fun, and work well in any environment. The Battle Axe is built off of a 44” x 9.5”, moderate concave, 9 ply pintail shape and adds the convenience of being low and the snappy feel of bamboo. The drop mount gets you lower to the ground so it’s easier to pump and foot break while being more stable while bombing. The shape allows for wheels up to 76mm with out the threat of wheel bite.

The Chinook deck is lowered by 1” in the back and 1.5” in the front, giving it a nice forward rake. This innovative design is the first of it’s kind. The forward rake puts you in a more aggressive stance for carving and cornering as well as making tucking more comfortable for speed demons. While pushing around town the rake elevates your heal and puts you in a more forward leaning position. This breakthrough design also enables the rear wheels to break-out and drift with less effort and more control than a traditional lowered or dropped board. The nose is lowered with a wedge providing more steering in the front, the rear is lowered with the truck mounting flat to allow for a more natural feel. The platform is large with deep concave providing the ideal deck shape for nearly every riding style.

The Drop Speed has been around for quite a while, after not being available for much of 2007, it gets some well deserved upgrades for 2008. The new shape provides more deck space, nice deep concave and a mirrored nose and tail for those of us who like to drift around corners backwards. The Shape still allows for big 90mm wheels while providing more strength and stiffness than before. The drop mount makes the board more stable than a standard top mount and the concave ensures it’s just as responsive.

This board was designed to make skating to the grocery store the best part of your day! The 36” deck is small enough that it’s practical and easy to carry around in stores, but still leaves lots of room for your feet. Being 10” wide and having generous amounts of deep concave, the Drop Hammer offers lots of leverage making the board quick and nimble enough to shred any ally or sidewalk you encounter. The drop mount makes it easy to pump and foot break while also giving it the stability you need to ensure you can bomb home confidently with that carton of eggs under your arm.
