[PICS] Northwest Longboarding :)

So.... I'm not really into writing my stories of ride but man.... I'm just soooo freaking stoked today !!!!!!
I havent been like that since forever !!!!
We went to this spot in Burlington, WA with Chris McBride, Neil another luger who used to be race director on many GSI races who came to visit Chris, Dennis "The Mennis" Manougian, Michael "Ghostsignal" Henry and me... EVERY SINGLE RUNS WERE JUST SICK !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The road was half dry.... the first part into the first haipin was ok, well grippin and perfect to slide into it, and the second hairpin that goes right after was very wet but getting dryer while the day was going.

First, we all keep it cool, no crash, we all follow each other, no problem.
Then second we start pushing it, entering that second corner as if it was dry. I go first, Dennis follows me, then Michael, Chris staying in the back and Neil taking pictures with a freaking 2000$ camera. I end up sliding way too much on that second corner and Dennis who focuses on me in front, follows the same path and we end up pilling up in this second corner, Dennis crashing right into my leg that was already against the sidewalk hahahhahahaha. Gosh that hurt lol !! Michael was a little bit more in the back and we see him sliding all the way on his asss to end up crashing in front of us lol.

Then next run. I go first, Dennis follows me and michael third. I was not gonna crash on this one but Dennis takes my inside lane and starts passing me... Though he keeps sliding into me and I end up with my hand stucked in between his board and his wheel, I try to still keep on going as much as I can like that, Dennis looking at me with a big smile on his face and me crashing again with that same big smile
I jummp back on my board while Michael passes me and we go take the 2 sweepers of the bottom.

A couple runs went by with no problems. Then another one arrives . Dennis goes first, me second and Michael third. We all stay in a tight pack while we enter the first corner and then I see Michael passing by me on the inside hauling ass as if he didnt slide, didnt footbreak or anything and cuts on my right side at full speed, while Dennis is only 3 feet in front of me. I'm like "what the fcuk are you trying to do???" (still with a freaking big smile on my face). I see him going in between us and aiming straight at the sidewalk at a pretty good speed... He just throw himself on the floor that was starting to dry out and did a couple flips before coming to a stop. Man I was laughing so hard inside my helmet hahahaha. Dennis slides out a little too much and we finish the run together, Michael coming after with that same smile

A few more runs, I pick up a luge for a couple times to ride with Neil while Chris is having a break, then the last run arrives. Everyone is pretty sore, Chris and I are the only one to go back up the hill, Chris on his buttboard, me on my evo. I have in mind that Neil keeps on taking pictures like he did all day long, and I want a nice shot of both of us. Chris goes first and I push to get back at him, he brakes quite early but I see it coming and throw a speedcheck at like 1 foot from the back of his board to stay really right in his asss... He hears me sliding right next to his head and doesnt know on which side Ill come from, I see him trying to see me, but then he has to brake again. I was planning on taking him on the outside but him... not
He slows down a lot and starts moving on the outside at the same time I start passing him... For a fraction of a second I try to keep on going like that but then the sidewalk is coming and I dont have time to turn anymore... so I slightly hit his shoulder , probably with my knee and I crash on the side while Chris stops to see if everything is going fine
All that second part of the action have of course been shot by Neil hahahhahhaa

Well as you can read if you are courageous enough to read the whole thing, a SICK SICK day !!!!!!
I'll get TONS of pictures of that day later on, probably this week and I'll bump this thread to post them...

I still can't get rid of that smile hahahhahhahaahhaha
