Dude! if this argument is a question of money going into the show...there should'nt be a problem. cause this just like an outlaw: everybody puts a bit of cash in the pot and winner takes all. then the winner can do whatever the fuck he wants to do with his winnings

If the argument is about the riders being Entertainers of JPR festivities and not gettin paid. well maybe and I say MAYBE, that the amount of budget Claudia had to work with went towards i dunno equipment for the venue. Did she have to for the closing of the street? Did she need to pay for hay-bails? what about radio equipment and other shit an annoucer might need? etc...

I dunno how Claudia is runnin the show, but from what it seems it looks to me as a one man show. Niko came to her and gave her his advice for setting up a DH course, Pierre tagged along to give his opinion & expertise about making the Slalom course. Who helped out to get the road ready for sliders? anyone? Your opinion matters! and i believe she'll take as much help as she can get for this show.

Are you bitchin about shawn gettin a room for the night of the show? it seems to me that he wasn't the only one elligible. Is it wrong for money to go towards that when he's already got a place in town? i say Yes to that. but i'm pretty sure the JPR festival has a board of directors and Nay-Sayers that need to EVENLY (and use this word with a grain of salt) spread the sponsorship money given to them from corporation like Videotron. some shows get more than others. and its probably alot easier to convince these guys to give a room for out-of-towners then to convince them to pay all skaters for a 4 our show that will only be done once during the whole festival period.

This isnt a last minute show either. We were informed about this TC Demo months in advance, heck this was even done at a different venue last year! maybe our opinion would have been heard louder had it been said in the early days of its planning?

MASCOTS! MASCOTS? well i woudnt say that. how about promoters? we gotta gather as many spectators for the Top Challenge as possible. this is the only reason were doing this demo. Every time it rains at TC they dont brake even and when it doesnt rain they barely make it. If we want to see future Top Challenges on Camilien-Houde. its gotta at least look like something a large Beer Company would invest their sponsorship money in, cause without these big guys TC wouldn't exist.

Every race will always have its "faux-pas'" and every Race will have a bickering competitior. I love the Top Challenge its in the middle of the best city in the world and racers come from all around the globe. Who the FUCK CARES ABOUT CORPORATE SPONSORS!!!

I love going to races meeting new riders and meeting the legends of Downhill,Slalom and Slide Skateboarding. I love seeing new styles Different Styles, Innovation, Creativity. I love returning to races i've been in the passed and seeing the skill and talent levels over riders go up, especially mine, I ove learning and knowing that each year i'm getting better at what i love to do.

Its event like these that make me feel like that. I hope there will always be race organiser like Claudia Pharand, Misho Erban, Bricin Lyons, Claude Regnier, Tim Cayer, Neil Orta, Jody Wilcox. and all the guys i know doing Outlaws like Malcolm Stooke, Fast Fred D.

And must i not forget yours truly Fab's annual Freeride, best place to be in the summer!

I hope you all liked my rant of the day.
I dont do this often & I dont want to.
But this argument needs more clarity.
I really hope this made any sense to someone.

Ask me about TC 2006.

Thank you come again.

I have no trouble in the fact that we pitch in money to make an outlaw. But when they say its because JPR l'oblige, and that we are promoting TC, then now i have a problem.

Put up or shut up. I would have said the same thing to these sponsors, like i did with mine. Now, it is up to you if you decide to participate in an activity, or a publicity thing.

I work in this blood sucking industry, let me tell you something, i dont need this bullshit in my sport.

And if you guys think i am pathetic, well, fuck it, think what you want. I keep my position until i see the clear story behind this pseudo "conte$t" thing.

Fab, J'ai mon commentaire à te faire.

Big time a avoir.
